As a one-year digital news intern primarily for NJ.com, I cover a variety of topics, with a focus on providing the news in an interesting and marketable way for digital consumers. I am currently on the local team and cover ongoings throughout New Jersey.
May 2018 - May 2019
Lead SU's student-run newspaper through weekly production of its print publication and daily updates to its website. Oversaw edits of newspaper pages, handled budgetary needs, lead weekly staff meetings and handled big picture plans for The Slate, including an overhaul of its website.

I was the only night desk summer intern at the Post-Gazette and mainly covered breaking news events including shootings, fires and floods. I have also written several feature stories and concert reviews.
